The Transgender Advisory Board addresses matters relating to advocacy on behalf of transgender rights such as education, community awareness, and empowerment and makes recommendations to Council relative to the adoption of programs, policies or ordinances of benefit to the constituency.

The Transgender Advisory Board is a critical and historical board for the City of West Hollywood, and serves as a cornerstone for LGBTQIA rights and the gender expansive communities in West Hollywood.
