Our mission is to truly uplift the underrepresented women+ in the Los Angeles area because we simply don’t have any spaces to call our own. We will do this by hosting events that showcase women+ artist/photographers and musicians until we find our space, which will empower women 7 days a week!

WeHo Pride Integration

In what way is your organization/group seeking to integrate with WeHo Pride? Option 1: Activate a designated space in the footprint of a WeHo Pride event held in the vicinity of West Hollywood Park and San Vicente Blvd. during the weekend of June 3-5, 2022, Option 2: Request City funding for a separately produced event.

Option 1 - Space within WeHo Pride Footprint

Please describe you proposed programming/activity within the WeHo Pride footprint: We would love to have a booth to spread awareness of our cause. We have branded merch for purchase (if allowed) A backdrop for photos and perhaps we could have some acoustic performances if the space permits. A big part of our concept is music videos so we would love to have a tv playing videos of female+ fronted artists.
Will your organization/group be requesting supplemental funding from the City for programming and activities as a part of your footprint in WeHo Pride? Yes

Option 2 - Separately Produced Event

Please describe you proposed event: We are currently talking with L-project LA to host an event at the Troubadour, as a closing night party for women+ We just hosted an event there on Feb 27th and it was a great success. We are awaiting confirmation on if Sunday June 5th is in fact available to be booked.
Will you be requesting supplemental funding from the City? Yes

Supplemental Funding

Please describe how you would use the supplemental funding for your event/activation: We would use the funding to pay for the rental of the venue and to pay the artists performing.

Agreement with the City of West Hollywood

Please note that, if selected, your organization may be required to provide insurance and enter into a written agreement with the City of West Hollywood. I agree
