| Please Describe the Incident Thoroughly | I am writing to put in a claim for damage done to my vehicle on 2/4/22 at approximately 9:00 p.m. due to a very large pothole on your roadway. My daughter was driving the vehicle and was on her way home. The pothole was located on Rt 16 west just before the Rt 1 overpass approximately in the area of 1010-1100 Revere Beach Parkway. The passenger front and rear tires were completely blown out, disabling the vehicle. State police assisted and stayed at the scene until the AAA tow truck was able to arrive and remove the vehicle. Upon inspection of the vehicle at the Lexus dealership in Danvers, it was determined that the damage was much more extensive than appeared. I was able to put the claim through my insurance to pay for the repairs however am seeking reimbursement from the city/state for the monies paid above what insurance covered, which is the $500 deductible. I have enclosed documentation from the insurance company as well as photos of the pothole on the roadway |
