We work with LGBTQ2S+ individuals who are experiencing multiple health disparities. Our objective is to reduce HIV transmission and acquisition and the risks that can result from substance use.

Every participant receiving services from Friends Community Center is a member of the LGBTQ2S+ community. We have several service programs conducting HIV health education and harm reduction to create better health outcomes for those in our community.

| Please briefly describe the Organization/Group's connection to West Hollywood |
We are located on the border of Hollywood and West Hollywood on Santa Monica and as such, two of our service programs, HIV/AIDS Education Through Street Outreach and Outpatient Substance Abuse Treatment, are funded by the City of West Hollywood. Our street outreach program focuses solely on the community members that are most vulnerable living in West Hollywood and only individuals who live, work, go to school, conduct sex work, or are unhoused in West Hollywood are eligible for our methamphetamine outpatient program.

Option 1: Activate a designated space in the footprint of a WeHo Pride event held in the vicinity of West Hollywood Park and San Vicente Blvd. during the weekend of June 3-5, 2022

We would like to use a 10'x10' booth to be visible to the community, pass out safe sex supplies such as condoms and lubricants, and information on the service programs available to individuals attending WeHo Pride.
