| Please Describe the Incident Thoroughly | On Monday, 28 March at approximately 8 PM we were driving over the Meridian Street bridge when We hit a very large pothole. It was dark out and we were unable to see the hole. They were no Cones to warn about the hole. Our car made a loud smash noise. We drove home to East Boston and park the car. The next day we went out which was on February 1. We drove to Peabody to the mall. Returning onto the highway from Peabody, our car made a loud noise and then there was no driving ability forward or backwards. We were on the highway exit and I jumped out of the car passenger side I saw a pad on the ground and picked it up. We had to call a tow truck to get us home. The car will be going into the shop on Thursday. Our car was running fine until we hit that pothole. When we first started to drive we did notice the alignment felt off. This was our first indication of the pothole problem.Car fell apart at an exit in Peabody on route one. We will find out what damage has been done after our appointments at the mechanic. |
