Queer Moment provides a stage for queer people with talents to showcase, embrace, share creative experiences, and perform! We partner with local bars and venues to host a queer music, art, and talent showcase in a queer curated atmosphere fully decorated with curated queer businesses and vendors of art, food, music, clothing, tattoos, barbers, and much more! We are also home to LA BLADE’s BEST DEAG SHOW for 2022 - Eloteria! At Redline in DTLA every Saturday!

| Please briefly describe the Organization/Group's connection to LGBTQ Pride |
We partnered with DTLA Proud last year for Pride and curated the entire vendor garden of 50 queer owned businesses and vendors, and provided the fully produced Friday drag showcase, and also provided lots of the main stage talent with connections to HBO’s Legendary, and local drag celebrity talent.
We also threw our own pride event at Redline and had star studded talent on stage from Kevin McHale from Glee and Nikki Blonsky from Hairspray! Curated with 5 queer vendors, a queer barber giving haircuts, and 10 queer bands on stage! All for an entire day and event at Redline! All for Pride!

| Please briefly describe the Organization/Group's connection to West Hollywood |
We are very connected to list of the performers and talent in West Hollywood. We are known at some of the venues, and we also have Salina EsTitties in our weekly show in DTLA who hosts all the brunches at all the bars every weekend in WeHo. We are also all former members of the Gay Men’s Chorus Of Los Angeles and collaborate with WeHo on many occasions. I have friends that works at HEART. I’m also personal friends with Andres Rigal.

| Please describe you proposed event: |
We would want to throw a QUEER MOMENT! This would be a queer musical and talent showcase with a small community stage. We would need sound, we would bring in a DJ to run our sound, lighting, and decor for the stage and surrounding area. We would bring in queer music talent of 5-10 acts. We could do this more than 1 day as well… we could do a show each day, or just one day. Ideally a nice long time frame, where we mix in queer artists (music) acts with a small set, and we run them back to back and mix in drag performances between the musical talents. I would also bring in some of the vogue houses from HBO’s legendary to mix in, and also have some queer vendors in the curated space.

| Please describe how you would use the supplemental funding for your event/activation: |
The funding would all go to make the event happen. I need a stage, sound, lighting, decor for stage and surrounding area, and some decor for around vendor booths. Anything left over would be a direct donation toward QueerMoment to make this event happen and book talent. We may need some funding to book some of the larger name talent if this could be a subject matter, but we are happy to work within any means given and can make things happen with our connections.

I have connections to my best friends production company to get grate rates on rental equipment, and can also have insurance provided with ease through him as well.
